Plaid and Eftheia

Banking context should make your records easier to understand.

01

Understand the provider role

Plaid is a banking connectivity provider. Eftheia access depends on its separate provider setup. Bank connectivity depends on the supported account, institution, region and feature. Do not assume that every institution or every Plaid product is available merely because the integration relationship exists.

02

Review the purpose of a connection

Before connecting an account in the real application, read the information about the requested access and its purpose. Keep that decision separate from a general product demonstration or marketing illustration.

03

A connection is not a transfer

Access to banking information does not itself authorize or initiate a payment. Keep incoming activity, invoice records and actual money movement conceptually separate. A matching decision should be grounded in the relevant references and amounts.

04

Bring coverage questions to support

If you need to know whether a particular account or workflow is supported, contact support@eftheia.com with the institution and intended use. Do not send login credentials, access tokens or complete payment details in a general support message.

05

About the figures on this site

Plaid states that it supports over 12,000 financial institutions and that 9,000+ fintechs are built on Plaid. These are Plaid’s own published figures about its network; they do not describe Eftheia’s customers or the institutions available in every Eftheia workflow.
